    A wonderful pair of late Regency period Mahogany and Brass Handled Buckets , possibly for use as log carriers , wine coolers , exotic waste paper baskets or even flower holders .

    Condition Wonderfully naturally patinated mahogany with the original brass liners and brass carrying handles in excellent state .

    Regency Gothic , was a brief period of British fashion in the late eighteenth century and early nineteenth century , initially inspired by Pugins father a Parisian draughtsman specialising in archicturial drawings of medieval and eccliastical buildings .

    The Son - Pugin the London born architect ,artist ,designer and critic is mostly remembered for his design for the Houses of Parliament , although he leads a long trail of designs for churches , houses ,cathederals around the country - including his popular designs for furnishings and mainly furniture .
