Set of twelve steel brass velvet curule chairs by Maison Jansen 1960s
-
Description
Beautiful set of 1960’s Curule Savonarola chairs made of heavy stainless steel metal with brass accents. This incredible set of twelve chairs was created by French interior design firm Maison Jansen. The sparse original structure feels like a piece of modern art, and the newly reupholstered velvet striped cushions allow the chairs to feel comfortable and usable, not out of place in a contemporary interior. Every part of these decorative pieces is quality made—evident by the heaviness of the chairs—resulting in a timeless mid-century set.
