Description
This mid-century handwoven Swedish flatweave Rölakan rug has a shaded caramel-brown field with seven broad horizontal panels each containing polychrome dice motifs and diamond lozenges around a large ivory I-shaped motif with a striped brown and ivory striped line through the centre linked to the narrow horizontal narrow stripes, in an ivory border with polychrome triangular-motifs art each end and a plain outer caramel-brown stripe. Signed CD for Swedish weaver Carl Dangel.
