Guto Indio da Costa

Born in Rio de Janeiro in 1969, Guto Indio da Costa is a prominent figure in the field of product design. He honed his skills at the Art Center College of Design in Switzerland, graduating in 1993. Currently serving as the design director of Indio da Costa A.U.D.T, a consultancy based in Rio de Janeiro, Guto oversees the development of architectural, urban planning, design, and transportation projects. His firm operates with a diverse team of designers, architects, urban planners, and specialized experts, fostering a multidisciplinary approach to creative strategy.
Beyond his role at Indio da Costa A.U.D.T, Guto Indio da Costa contributes actively to the design community. He serves on the Design Council of the State of Rio de Janeiro, previously held the position of Vice President at the Brazilian Design Association (Abedesign), and founded the Brazilian Industrial Design Council (CBDI). A sought-after speaker and writer, Guto has contributed to various design publications and served as a jury member for numerous design competitions both domestically and internationally.
