Vico Magistretti (1920-2006), "Barbettis" chair for Poggi, 1980.
SD 71, or Barbettis, is a homage paid to the preceding Golem chair of 1968 and to the design by Mackintosh (a further homage will be evident in the SD 75 chair), particularly evident in the design of the back which features the triple linear repetition and of the "fan-shaped" seat. The structure is in solid beech with the three-pronged backrest and the upholstered seat covered in fabric or leather.
For this chair we have used a brocade by Verel de Belval.
