Antique oak engraved chest
English, late 19th Century
Height 34cm, width 67cm, depth 37cm
This charming oak chest serves two functions: when horizontal, the piece is a chest, but when vertical, it functions as a cabinet. One side of the piece features four toupie feet, while the top surface of the hinged door and one other side features engraved decoration of animals in landscapes, executed in a naive style. -
