Mid-20th century Striped Gray Swedish Flat-Weave Rug by Lagerhem Ullberg

$ 12,000
  • Description
    This Swedish flat-weave rug was created by Gunilla Lager hem Ullberg. Its appearance is simple yet perfectly balanced. Dim fields carrying alternately stripes and check pattern are separated by stripes of different colors (blue, black, red, orange, yellow) running across the field from edge to edge. This straightforward composition will easily fit into any kind of interior décor. As befits a Scandinavian rug, this one was masterfully executed which resulted in its everlasting quality. Carefully hand-woven of the finest wool in accordance with traditional techniques, the vintage Swedish rug looks as if it just came out from the hands of the weaver. Provided minimum amount of care, the flat-weave will serve its owners many years without any signs of wear.
