Description
This neutral saffron color tinged Turkish Oushak rug is archaically ornate. They feature simplistically daring designs and patterns coupled with lustrous, warm color tones. Turkish carpet weaving characteristics like this are why they look like ultra-rare and precious museum pieces. Hand-tufted rugs of the oriental carpets variety are highly valued in antique oriental rugs couture culture. The medallion of this Turkish rug features staggered, abstract snowflake designs. The guard border is an interlocking link of abstract, jigsaw-like designs. The field continues the abstract staggered snowflake motif. The main border is a repeating pattern of florid stamps.
