This stunning flat woven vintage rug shop wears the signature of great Ingegerd Silow and wears it like a badge of honor. Silow was known as a talented weaver, but it was not the only thing she was devoted to. During her lifetime Silow worked hard to draw the public's attention to Swedish rugs and succeeded. The piece that we have here is a feast for the eyes - from design to color palette, everything was carefully thought over to create a truly unforgettable composition. Woven circa 1955, the antique carpet displays a classic yet modern pattern in a true Scandinavian fashion. It is composed of various geometric figures brought together into a harmonious whole. The rug's color palette is composed of warm, earthy tones such as brown and beige with a little bit of gray.
