Description
An early 20th century Persian Sultanabad rug, the rust red field with an overall pattern of geometric flowerheads, stylized leafy vines and polychrome palmettes, within an indigo scrolling vine border.
Antique Sultanabad rugs in NYC are among the most desirable Persian to be produced in the late 19th and early 20th century. Characterized by their subtle color palettes and trellis designs, antique Sultanabads are frequently the choice of designers in search of allover Persian rugs to serve as a more subtle compliment to a design scheme. -
