A fine example from our collection of early 20th century antique Persian Sultanabad carpets, the dusty rose field with an allover pattern of flowerheads, flowering vines, and serrated leaves within a midnight blue palmette border. Antique Sultanabad rugs are among the most desirable Antique Persian rugs to be produced in the late 19th and early 20th century. Characterized by their subtle color palettes and trellis designs, antique Sultanabads are frequently the choice of designers in search of allover to serve as a more subtle compliment to a design scheme.
