Florence Knoll Custom Wall-Mounted Cabinet by Knoll Associates for H.J. Heinz Co, Pittsburgh.
This custom wall-mounted cabinet with a Calcutta marble top and six drawers, 4 doors concealing storage with adjustable shelves installed on the 6th floor executive dining room of the Jack Heinz office suite in the newly designed Heinz Riley Research Center (1958). The Center, by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, was part of the historic H.J. Heinz Company plant complex in Pittsburgh. Florence Knoll's Planning Unit created the cohesive interior spaces for the Riley Research Center in her signature, modern style.
