Description
This mesmerizing antique Persian Tabriz rug radiates with invigorating energy of the oriental sun. Its vast ivory field is embellished with staggered enlarged medallions issuing delicate ornaments that bring to mind delightful sunrays, finished with floral elements and several tree of life motifs. This refined and balanced composition is enclosed within a series of equally irresistible borders with vases and cartouches surrounded by millefleur and flowering climbers.
A tree of life is an extremely important Persian symbol that expresses human longing for eternal life and here, with the sun-like medallions and warm vibrant color palette of brick red, pale orange and chocolate brown against the beige setting, it exudes a unique, animated vibe. This weaving beauty was thoroughly hand-crafted of the finest wool in a centuries-long technique by a skilled artisan which contributed to its ever-lasting quality. This vivid antique Persian rug has a chance to serve its future owners for generations, just as it has lasted unblemished until today. Due to its timeless deign and absolute elegance, it will easily fit into contemporary abodes, filling them with joy and recherché charm.
Doris Leslie Blau has always tried to bring the charm enclosed in Persian, closer to people, closer to you. We opened our galleries in multiple locations in order to let you experience the sheer beauty of antique, vintage Persian, oriental rugs and carpets with your own eyes and hands.
