Description
A silvered cast bronze rectangular paperweight by Parisian art jeweler Line Vautrin (1913-1997) circa 1940s. A lovely piece of desktop object d'art in a relatively uncommon form and theme. A play of word "Chat Cafe AC Plaisirs" i.e. "Chaque Age a ses Plaisirs" (Every age has its pleasure).
Solid bronze with heavy weight. Signed LINE VAUTRIN on the reverse.
