Description
A rare daybed by Polish-Brazilian designer Jorge Zalszupin. The daybed is made of wood slats, held between wooden bars and stands on metal hairpin feet.

Zalszupin (1922 - 2020) was born in Poland and moved to Brazil after World War II. Here he worked with Oscar Niemeyer to design furniture for the new capital, Brasília. In the 1950s he started his own furniture company, L'Atelier.
