Description
This rare drop-leaf dining table in different rosewood shows an unusual, impressive base of six V-shaped legs, made with extraordinary craftsmanship and designed by Kurt Ostervig for Jason Furniture in Denmark. The legs on both ends can be turned, which allows the ends of the top to drop vertically. The wooden hinges are wonderful, a nice detail as a consequence of the table's functional drop leaf design. In a few seconds the well sized dining table becomes a wonderful centre table, which is a unique and well executed feature of this breathtaking piece. It is in great original condition, the wood has a lovely smooth patina.
