An antique Turkish Oushak carpet. The unusual abrashed light blue ground shows a three column Yaprak (‘Leaf’) and two column palmette pattern accented in sky blue, rust, and madder. This western Turkish town large carpet features a striking light blue Anatolian-style border with rosettes and hyacinth sprays.
