Description
This exceptional George III Mahogany Breakfront Bureau Bookcase with Glazed Doors, has wonderful flame & crotch grain Mahogany. Comprised of a large central cabinet, flanked by 2 smaller cabinets all Lined in green silk. It’s doors have mullions in an attractive square & rectangular configuration. The cabinet is raised on a lower case section with a central draw out writhing surfaces, that contains pigeon holes & drawers, one on the lower left with a hidden compartment also with a green leather writing surface. The lower central doors with oval recessed panels conceals 4 linen drawers. The central portion Of the lower cabinet is flanked by two cabinets both with unusual triangular door panels. The left door conceals four shelves the right door conceals four drawers. The entire cabinet is raised on bracket feet.
