Adrian Pearsall Craft Associates Pair Brutalist Side Chairs
-
Description
A rare and outstanding pair of Mid-Century Modern Brutalist side-chairs (that can also be used as occasional or lounge) designed by Adrian Pearsall and manufactured by Craft Associates, in the early 1970s. These faceted and gemlike chairs feature tall angular backs, with the entire form on a slight pitch, with original green upholstery, on textured bronze coated resin over solid wood bases. Iconic and period correct authentic examples of the iconic Brutalist style that's in very high appreciation and demand!
Condition: The bases appear free of damage or repairs. The original green upholstery shows minor light smudges. The padding is degraded but still very usable. Or simply have the chairs re-stuffed or re-covered. A nice heft, sturdy and surprisingly comfortable. -
