Description
The Kvadrat coffee table, designed by Roland Wilhelmsson and manufactured by Karl Andersson & Söner in Sweden during the 1970s. Crafted from solid pine, its geometric form is composed of five precisely aligned rectangular elements, creating a bold yet harmonious structure. Wilhelmsson deliberately pursued a minimalist aesthetic, resulting in a piece that is both understated and architecturally intriguing.
Karl Andersson & Söner has been producing high-quality, designer furniture since 1898. Founded by Karl Andersson - renowned for his creativity, drive, and commitment - the company has always stood for “well-made furniture, durable and sustainable.” That legacy lives on in the Kvadrat table.
Timeless in its appeal, the Kvadrat coffee table effortlessly complements a wide range of interiors. It can seamlessly integrate into minimalist spaces or provide a sculptural contrast in more eclectic, maximalist, or period settings. Combining enduring materials with thoughtful design, this piece remains as relevant today as it was over fifty years ago. -
