Description
This unique sculpture coffee table signed by Isabelle Masson-Faure for Maison Honoré Paris in the late 1970s will make a fascinating centerpiece for any stylish living room. Formed with two metal sculptures in the lifelike shape of a cobra, this table is a not-so-subtle reminder of the lavishness, color-contrasts, and sculptural curves that dominated the Maison Honoré style. It features a mix of metals, including brass, copper, and bronze. The head of each cobra is vividly realistic, and one of the most interesting sculptural elements of the sculpture is the way the metal has been twisted to form a sturdy base for the table. On top of them is a large thick oval glass top. The table has been fully restored, repolished and refinished, and found in a great vintage condition. This piece is truly unique, signed, and highly decorative, sure to be an intriguing focal point for any interior.
