Description
Imposing vase by Ingrid Atterberg, principal artist designing for Upsala Ekeby from 1944-1964.
Her "Negro" series was created in 1953, and in production through 1958.
Atterberg was fascinated with foreign cultures.
This vase, model 2136, is made of dark manganese clay with incised white glazed decors. -
