18th c. Carved Swedish Folk Art Kubbstol Chair in Original Paint with Provenance

Description
This “kubbstol” is a traditional Scandinavian chair made from a hollowed trunk of wood. This beautiful folk art piece has provenance. The back is inscribed, ANO 1736 (year 1736). Beautiful original condition. The surface has been dry-scraped to reveal the original paint. There are still tiny specs of paint remains from the paint that was once over the original paint. The seat is removable with storage inside.
