Description
Very fine George II marble top console table, the later grey stone top over molded apron, the front with carved shell over richly gadrooned edge, the boldly formed cabriole legs having foliate carving and acanthus carved knees, ending in pronounced ball and claw feet with concealed leather barrel casters.
Provenance: M Harris A Catalogue and Index of Old Furniture and Works of Decorative Art published in 1932 (Vol III).
Table frame measures 53 1/4 wide x 22 1/4" deep and 34 1/2" high -
