Description
Early Dine bracelet with silver overlay work and stamped crossed and straight arrows, feathers
2 1/16” diameter at the widest place on the inside of the bracelet x 1 1/3” from the center of the back to the opening, which is 1 1/6”
Hand-made. silver filing marks are visible on the back of the bracelet. Center stone. The safety chain was clearly added by a later owner and can easily be removed.
This Dine (Navajo) bracelet is very finely made and it is clearly an early example. Stamped designs that are under the snakes include snakes, arrows, the sun and more. The snake was created by silver overlay. -
