Description
Zuni conestoga wagon pins reflect the cultural history of the West. It seems that the channel-inlay version of these pins were primarily made in the late 1950s-1960s. We have to wonder if the Manny Goodman, owner of Conestoga Wagon (store in Old Town, Albuquerque) suggested to the Zuni that they make this pin design? In any case, the covered wagon certainly was central to the settlement of the West.
This iconic form has moveable front wheels. It is in excellent condition. -
