Duo of vases by John Andersson (1899-1969) for Andersson & Johansson Höganäs, one an organically modeled tiered cylinder, and the other a tapered globe form, both textured in carved horizontal ridges and both glazed in clear bottle green glaze with brown touches; hand-thrown stoneware; Sweden, 1950s-1960s; carved "J. A. AJHöganäs" / Globe measures 9 in. (23 cm) H x 7 in. (18 cm) D, and cylinder measures 10.5 in. (27 cm) H x 6 in. (15 cm) D.
