Beautiful, very large Art Deco Bronze Sculpture depicting a muscular man bending an iron stem by J. de Roncourt from France about 1930.
* Bronze (stamped), dark patinated
* Signature on plinth: J. de Roncourt (Jean de Roncourt)
* Original black marble plinth.
The French sculptor Jean de Roncourt is considered one of the best sculptors of the 1920s, who specialized in the production of male bronze figures and is considered a master in this field.
