Description
Pair of metal tulip table bases designed and manufactured by Karl Springer, Ltd circa 1970-80s. The bases are currently configured as a pair of console tables with new beveled glass tops (0.5 inch thick and included if wish). The pair can also be used as dining table bases to support a large glass top up to 48" x 96" (as shown in the last photo, glass is not included). These wonderful pieces were constructed with mirror-polished stainless steel accented with brass with weighted bottom plate. Very heavy and glamorous pieces that evoke the ambience of the disco age.
Currently as console tables, they measure (with the glass top) 36" W x 24" D x 29.5" H. The base measures 32" W x 12.25" D x 29" H. The depth of the upper support of the base is 9"D.
