English Stone & Iron Armillary
-
Description
English gardens often have an armillary. These instruments were designed by the ancient Greeks to theoretically track the planets and stars. Adding a touch of whimsy, this maintenance free garden element will enhance any outdoor space. Each side of the square pedestal showcases a whimsical floral motif. The iron sphere was worn paint and is currently bolted to its base. The whole has acquired an excellent patina from years of outdoor exposure. Make sure to view the detailed images to get a closer look.
