Description
Nine drawer dresser designed by J. Stuart Clingman for John Widdicomb Co. prior to his death in 1956.
Darker quarter-cut rosewood framing, sculpted facia, over hanging top drawers, book matched rosewood veneer with cut back side panels, brass sabots and inset campaign brass pulls.
J. Stuart Clingman was director of design at John Widdicomb for 35 years.
A substantial dresser with a well composed design in excellent condition.
Unusual.
In addition we have the matched pair of nightstands 24" W, 16" D., 24.75" H. available that are in the process of being refinished. -
