Description
Attributed to W. A. Snow Iron Works, Boston (1883-1895).
Full body molded copper, zinc spur feet.
Over-all in great condition, retaining the original gilt surface with historic paint, now oxidized.
This superb example of a large rooster weathervane having great detail to the molded body and cast feet, is also desirable for its wonderful surface. -
