Description
Pair of Pantonova chrome steel wire chairs signed Verner Panton edited in 1970 by Fritz Hansen.
Designer: Verner Panton (1926–1998) was a Danish designer. An architectural engineer by training, he began his career collaborating with Arne Jacobsen from 1950 to 1952 before opening his own architecture and design studio in 1955. He created the famous Panton Chair in 1960 edited by Vitra a few years later and still in production today. The Cone Chair or Pantonova armchairs made of chrome steel wires are also iconic models. -
