Publisher: Meurop is a Belgian design and furniture house, founded in the early 1950s, known for its emblematic modernist creations of the mid-twentieth century. The brand has distinguished itself by producing objects and furniture with a sleek and functional style — often in metal, plastic and innovative materials — in collaboration with major designers, notably Pierre Guariche in the 1960s. Meurop pieces embody the aesthetic of post-war European design, combining simplicity, aesthetics and utility, and are now sought after as outstanding examples of modern furniture. -
