Pair of stunning large wall sconces in polished brass with hand-cut angular glass inserts by Max Ingrand for Fontana Arte, Italy 1950's. These sconces have been polished and newly rewired.

Documentation: Documented elsewhere (exact item) Notes: FONTANA ARTE: Gio Ponti, Pietro Chiesa, Max Ingrand by Franco Deboni, in the section titled “1948-1968” there is a photo of this model sconce with the caption “Max Ingrand, pair of wall lights in burnished metal, thick sheets of profiled and cut glass. Model displayed at the Milan Fair, 1961.” Origin: Italy Period: 1950-1979 Materials: Polished Brass, Art Glass, Metal - Handcrafted Condition: Good. Condition: Excellent - metal has been polished and lacquered. Interior of sconce has been repainted. Both sconces rewired.
