Description
Charlotte Perriand created this coffee table in 1953 for her own use. It consists of nineteen 55” slats and can be used as a bench or converted into a modular padded unit. Armrests, seat and backrest cushions can be added to the structure and fixed in place using a simple fastening system.
Charlotte Perriand (1903 – 1999) is one of the most influent french modernist designers. Together with Le Corbusier, Jean Prouvé or Pierre Jeanneret, she is part of the 50’s designers whose works are highly collectible.
