Description
The CH338 Dining Table, designed for 6 people, is a longer version of Hans J. Wegner’s CH337 4-person dining table from 1962. Like the CH337, the CH338 has an elliptical shaped tabletop that can be extended with leaves when more seats are needed.
A pioneering furniture designer of the 20th century, Hans J Wegner is one of the most well known Danish furniture designers in the world.
With a long history of amazing craftsmanship, dating back to the beginning of the company in 1908 in Odense, Denmark, Carl Hansen & Son is deeply rooted in the Danish Design Movement combining superior manufacturing with world renowned designs by Ole Wanscher, Hans J Wegner, and Mogens Koch, to name a few. The passion for quality and longevity is apparent in the choice of materials as well, using local, sustainably harvested wood, it is hard to find a more conscientious, stylish, well made product.

Exposure to direct sunlight can alter the colour of wood and lacquer. -
