34 Volumes. Charles Dickens, The Complete Works. Gadshill Edition. Bound by Zaehnsdorf in full green morocco (spines faded to brown) with the covers displaying a multi-lined gilt-tooled border. The spines display raised bands, floral panel details, and label lettering, all gilt-tooled. The top edges are gilded with gilt-tooled turn-ins and marbled endpapers. Includes introductions, general essay, and notes by Andrew Lang as well as original illustrations. Published by Chapman & Hall, Ltd. in London and Charles Scribner's Sons in New York, 1899.
