Early 19th century French Louis XVI style Mahogany with brass mounted marble top vitrine / bookcase. This was designed to display your most prized possessions or one of a kind collection with incredible style. Beautifully Crafted from exotic imported mahogany, the bookcase features a neoclassical architecture with fluted corner posts on all four sides. The original beveled glass on the double front door is framed by brass trim, and allows one unfettered visual access to the contents. The vitrine also feature four unremovable wood shelves , all can be drop and flatten down to the base for easy access to shipping. Tapered and fluted legs are fitted with acanthus collars feet all cast in bronze. The showcase is in great condition for its age with appropriate wear consistent with age / use. It stands 59 inches high x 47 inches length x 13 inches deep.
