Large Ico Parisi, Style Of, Laminated Veneered Bar Wall Unit, circa 1955
-
Description
Available right now we have this stunning and important 3 bay wall unit that in the past has been catalogued in auctions as being attributed to Ico Parisi circa 1955. This Italian modern veneered and laminated wall unit consists of a bar in the middle with cabinets flanking both sides as well as shelving.
Ico Parisi wall units are incredibly rare, and finding one of this size, in this condition is actually quite incredible. While other cabinet makers such as George Nelson and Poul Cadovious ( Cado unit ) were quite prolific, Parisi was not.
This wall unit was actually hand picked from Italy from the home where it has been sitting for the past 60+ years and shipped to the United States where it is now in our gallery. A true vintage artifact with a beautiful story to tell.
This Mid-Century Modern, Italian modern wall unit would also look incredible with some Philip Arctander chairs, or perhaps some Arturo Pani furniture of Cesare Lacca. This wall unit is so versatile that it would easily compliment Danish modern, Hollywood Regency, or even a more traditional environment. -
