Description
This sofa is beyond stunning! Circa 1994, this white sofa features a gorgeous flame stitch upholstery and is equal parts comfortable and beautiful. The sofa features 3 pieces and a wrap around like style of design which has a modern almost Art Deco feel.
The curvy body and gorgeous fabric really do a great job of making this piece both timeless and chic, making it effortlessly blend into any type of contemporary, post modern, or Mid-Century Modern environment-- its subtle lines also lend itself well to even a modern farmhouse environment-- if paired with the right pieces, this could also look great with Memphis Milano type furniture or a wabi sabi styling.
We've been unable to confirm the designer of this sofa, but there are additional tags beneath that date the sofa to 1994 which is right around the time Vladimir Kagan was designing other pieces for Directional. The sofa has a slightly chonkier feel than the Kagan serpentine, with an almost Milo Baughman feel, and looks incredible in our gallery paired with a Karl Springer coffee table and accent swivel chairs. -
