Monumental Rosewood and Polished Stainless Steel Executive Desk, 1970's
-
Description
Available right now we have this absolutely gorgeous rosewood wrapped executive case desk. Often attributed to Pace collection, this desk has all the great hallmarks of a 1970's executive piece-- ridiculously great materials, incredible grain-- and lots of polished stainless steel (with a mirror finish). This piece just oozes 1970's modern Italian luxury.
This rosewood case desk is comprised of solid hardwood throughout and rosewood wrapped along the entire exterior of the piece. The desk sits atop a polished stainless steel crescent shaped base, and also features locks and keys for the drawers on both sides of the piece.
This executive desk as photographed with an Eames soft pad chair, would look incredible with similarly styled pieces by Milo Baughman, Harvey Probber, or even Paul Evans designs would lend themselves nicely to playing up the maximalism of this piece. This desk would look incredible in any mid century modern, Hollywood regency, glam or even Danish modern or industrial modern styled environment. Truly fit for an executive!
(Should the customer want this piece refinished, we can have our professional restoration expert handle this job at cost. Please message if you would like this added to the purchase. The desk is however gorgeous and totally useable as is.) -
