Description
This is an exceptional late 18th or early 19th c. copy of a Rembrandt Self-Portrait. The intense gaze of the subject holds the viewer's attention and brings him into the story of the painting. The work is very well-painted, but unfortunately, it is not signed. There is a stamp on the back of the canvas. Unfortunately, the painting has not retained its original frame and we have chosen not to reframe it.
