Pair Painted Tole Beds

Description
This is a superb pair of painted tole single beds that dates to the late 19th century to circa 1920. The beds feature a butter yellow base color with a painted landscape to both the foot and headboards. The bed are designed with polished steel corner finials and bras and iron grill work. The beds are in overall good condition with deep natural patina. Although the beds are currently configured as singles, they could easily be combined to create a custom-sized mattress with a depth of 76 inches or nearly king-sized. The length of the beds could also be extended to a standard length. These bed would add interest to multiple design theme from a Hamptons Beach house or mountain retreat to traditional Southern bedrooms.
