Description
Elegant pair of French Art Deco Club Armchairs crafted in France in the 1930s.
Very refined lines and sophisticated proportions that could remind us the work of French decorators Jean Royère or Jacques Adnet.
We can particularly appreciate the perfect mix between modernity and tradition, typical of the movement of the great French "ensemblier" from the 30's period.
(Ensemblier is the french word at this time for Interior Designer)
The lines are purified and stretched, superfluous details are removed to arrive at more geometric, symmetrical shapes.
In addition, this pair has been re-upholstered with an incredible bright and flashy yellow velvet fabric (100% Cotton) that could be a perfect match in an art collector interior, and will illuminate any environment such as a bedroom or a leaving room.
Very soft and comfortable seat.
Original pieces from the 1930s newly re-upholstered in the traditional way by the best French craftsmen, we used an amazing high quality flashy yellow fabric. 100% Cotton velvet fabric.
We can particularly appreciate the work and savoir-faire of our team of upholsterers respecting the original design, using the right proportions and lines as it was designed in the 30s.
As our upholsterers work in the traditional way using springs and piping, each armchair is a 50 hours work.
This pair of Club chairs was at first upholstered of brown leather, we can provide photos before and during restoration on demand.
Excellent condition.
Worldwide Express deliveries by air freight are available on all our items. -
