With numerous artistic contributions from the art editor Austin Osman Spare, as well as striking illustrations from John Austen, John Nash, Glyn Philpot, Robert Gibbings, Jack Yeats and Alan Odle, among others. Notably, Evelyn Waugh contributes five illustrations including 'The Tragicall Death of Mr Will Huskisson', with Graham Greene (misspelled as Graham Green in the contents) contributing 'The Coming', a poem which would later appear in Babbling April.
8 issues in 2 vols (all published), folio (vol. 1) and 4to (vol. 2); illustrated throughout with lithographs, linocuts, and woodcuts, numerous post-it notes to margins, minor age-toning; publisher's cloth-backed boards, gilt lettering to spines, some rubbing to covers and extremities, front wrappers bound in; a very good set. -
