French 19th Century Forged Iron Candelabra
-
Description
A fabulous 19th Century hand-forged iron candelabra, made in France circa 1840. Beautifully designed, this fixture will hold six candles in its graceful, fluted candle cups that resemble calla lilies and a larger 13th candle may be placed in its center on an iron spike surrounded by open spider lily petals, all showcased in an attractive triangular shape. Hand-crafted in very ornate forge work the candle cups sit atop an elegant, turned support ending in a decorously trimmed tripod base that grounds this glamorous candleholder. An absolutely gorgeous patina can be seen throughout, created by years of use and candles of nights gone by. When fully lit this fixture is truly dazzling and would give your interior or outdoor space just the right incandescent ambiance. Be sure to view all the images to get a closer look.
