Description
Dan Johnson created the Gazelle chairs while he was working on a commission in Rome. They were made by Italian craftsmen using traditional casting and weaving techniques dating back to antiquity. His financial backer was Arch Industries of California. The Gazelle chairs ended production in 1959 when Arch Industries withdrew their distribution. These bronze chairs are very rare.
