Description
Elegant Large, Round French Modern Craftsman Mirror in the style of Adrien Audoux and Frida Minet. The mirror is composed of a round central mirror plate and is surrounded by rays of hand made braided and wrapped cord or rope emanating from the center of the piece. This creates the abstract form of a sunburst. The cord is made from natural sea grasses and offers a modern, natural aesthetic. Jean Michel Frank and Adrien Audoux and Frida Minet often sought to offer a minimalist aesthetic using natural and hand made materials. This mirror exemplifies this sober, minimalist aesthetic while embracing a sense of quiet drama and elegance. The mirror has a slight convex form so that it hangs 2" off the wall. The diameter of the central mirror plate alone is 29", the whole diameter is 48". This piece will ship from Naples, Florida.
