This Mid-Century Modernist Mirror LaBarge Mirror originates from the United States in 1989. A stunning piece of dexterity and material excellence, the border features an array of natural motifs rendered in Black Mirror glass and eglomise detailing. Poppies, birds, and butterflies populate draw the eye, and hanging and rising flowers and more life dance around the beautiful black glass border of the work, spaced with serenity and oneness in relation to the reflective center. The colors and quality are creative and balanced, adding brilliance and variety to the depth of the dark black glass, a beautiful design uniquely well tied to the composition and geometric boundaries of the border. The edge and center of the mirror are lined in finely fluted and polished brass. Bears signatures on the bottom left and right hand corners, VanDyke & Vanderhill respectively. This exquisite LaBarge will style beautifully in a wide array of interiors and movements, versatile in its striking profile from far away and remarkable details up close, a great example and addition to your interior.
